Each season comes to an end with a celebratory 5K. This closing event gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment program participants always remember! Everyone in our program receives a commemorative medal to celebrate this incredible achievement.

If you are interested in being a Running Buddy, please complete the following form. We try to pair participants with their family/friends. For non-family member Running Buddies, Girls on the Run will run background checks on volunteers. Girls on the Run can't gurantee that if you register to be a Running Buddy that you will get to be a Running Buddy. If all spots are filled, we ecourage you to still volunteer at our 5K race.
