The impact Girls on the Run makes is dependent on dedicated volunteers like you, who are committed and passionate about our mission and vision.
Coaches are the heart of our program! Each season, two or more volunteer coaches inspire and guide a team through our tried-and-true curriculum. If you're ready to directly make an impact, then this role is for you.
Additional Volunteer Opportunities
Consistent with the mission of Girls on the Run, the Executive Director of GOTR Rio Grande is responsible for the overall development, management, and financial solvency of the council. The Executive Director will develop strong collaborative relationships with community leaders, schools and school systems, non-profit partners, and volunteers to actualize our missional impact within the community. The ideal candidate will possess fund development experience and administrative acumen. They will demonstrate resiliency, optimism and determination through strategic planning and implementation and will extend our organizational commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity and access through the creation and activation of purposeful policies and partnerships.
Our end of season Spring 5K provides a tangible sense of accomplishment to participants. To celebrate and make the experience one to remember, there are many opportunities to get involved.
